Humanitarian Aid: Helping Those in Need

Our Foundation's roots are in family planning and reproductive health, but Venezuela's ongoing humanitarian crisis – and the collapse of the public health system – have propelled us into a larger role today offering a range of humanitarian medicine as well. We deliver this vital aid with our same low costs and efficiency. Behind our strong service numbers are people, wonderfully interesting, deserving human beings with full lives, and we always keep our focus on them. A small Foundation with a big heart – your Foundation – is transforming lives.

Our services include family planning and reproductive health, family and internal medicine, ENT, cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, geriatrics, imaging, lab work, and selective surgeries for more than 14,000 patients to date from low-income rural and urban barrio families.

These women are receiving treatment for breast conditions that require minor surgeries including lumpectomies.

Men sometimes combine vasectomies with hernia repairs that allow them to go back to work while stabilizing their families.

Community health, welfare and family planning start with education. This year our outreach teams have presented more than 500 public health workshops to more than 15,000 participants so far. These educational opportunities across multiple generations make a quantifiable difference!
