The Turimiquire Foundation's core mission is helping the most needy and vulnerable in Venezuela. The ongoing humanitarian crisis has spurred over six million people to flee the country. Many have ended up at the U.S. border. Each calender year, we take measure of our work and all that we have been able to accomplish. These are not just numbers to us. They represent real human lives empowered by their own choices, and thanks to YOUR support.

• 12,106 Family Planning Services delivered
•  5,679 first-time clients seeking family planning
•  39,278 Couple Years of Protection (CYPs), the internationally accepted metric by which USAID measures family planning achievement.
•  2,801 Medical Consultations primarily in reproductive health, including a range of primary and secondary health care.
•  2,319 Medical Follow-ups: Lab exams, x-rays, CT scans, sonograms, biopsies and treatments.
•  2,461 Surgeries: Tubal sterilizations, vasectomies, hernia repairs, various gynecological, mammary, orthopedic, oncological, pediatric, ophthalmologic, gastro/abdominal and ENT procedures.
•  628 Reproductive Health Workshops for 17,866 participants with the focus on teenagers, students, young adults, and public health and education personnel.
•  Scholarship Program for 50+ high school students at a remote rural school and 10 students at local community colleges.
•  Emergency Assistance delivered to dozens of families to alleviate critical problems associated with poverty, such as childhood food insecurity.
•  Fruit Tree Distribution Program expanded with the establishment of durian plantings in our local rural community as well as on the western side of the country. Durian is the exotic Asian fruit highly sought after by the Chinese populations residing in Venezuela.
•  Support for Infrastructure Projects that benefit the community as a whole - maintaining the schools, bridge, trails, and water and electric (solar) systems.
